Setup


Here we are going to state the process of exms setup for College/institutions/universities. It will help you to understand how to go through the system. Setting up the Exms for a College/institutions/universities requires college information, courses, subjects, desgnations and study plan. After login to exms these can be done by clicking on the setting button on the top right corner of the screen as shown in screen-1.

College information can be seen by clicking overview tab from the left side menus as shown in Screen-1. College logo can be updated by clicking update logo link. College information can be updated by clicking update info link which shows a new screen where the details can be entered as shown in Screen -2.

System overview shows the complete details of the courses, subjects, designations and studyplan under the respective college as shown in Screen-1.

Courses

College/institutions/universities usually have the courses like B.E., MBBS , MBA etc. The admin and the staffs has the responsibities to setting up the courses. The entering of courses to EXMS is be done from here.

Adding the new course is done by clicking add new course button. On clicking add new course button a new screen will be shown where the details can be entered as shown in Screen-3. Courses added will be listed in the table and the editing and deleting functionality can be performed by clicking edit icon and delete icon button on the last column of the table as show in Screen-4. Courses can be either a yearly pattern or a semester pattern as shown in Screen-3.

Designation

College/institutions/universities usually have the designations like Professors, Lecturer, Teachers and non-teaching staff like Dean, Lab-Attendants, Exam Co-ordinators. The admin and the staffs has the responsibities to setting up the designations. The entering of designations to EXMS is done from here.

Adding the new designation is done by clicking add new designation button. On clicking add new designation button a new screen will be shown where the details can be entered as shown in Screen-5. Designations added will be listed in the table and the editing and deleting functionality can be performed by clicking edit icon and delete icon button on the last column of the table as show in Screen-6.

Subject

College/institutions/universities usually have the subjects in the courses. The admin and the staffs has the responsibities to setting up the subjects under the selected course. The entering of subjects to EXMS is done from here.

Adding/Editing/Deleting : Adding the new subject is done by clicking add new subject button. On clicking add new subject button a new screen will be shown where the details can be entered as shown in Screen-7. Subjects added will be listed in the table and the editing and deleting functionality can be performed by clicking edit icon and delete icon button on the last column of the table as show in Screen-8.

Study Plan

Study plan is usually a whole syllabus of the course which can be in a semester pattern or in a yearly pattern. Study plan have a subjects in each semester or in year.

Subjects can be added of the selected course into the semester/year by clicking "+" button which is resulted in a new screen as shown in screen-9. Subjects can be removed from the study plan by clicking delete icon button as shown in Screen-10. Deleted Subject can be added again as shown in screen-11.
