Exams is basically a group of multiple operations have to perform in it. After login to exms click on the "Exam" menu tab as shown in the screen-1 to see the operations of it. The operations are listed below :
This feature allows a faculty/admin to create, preview, and edit questions for a respective subjects in a course. Screen-1 shows a number of subjects listed with the question counts in a selected course from the course drodown.
You can add questions by clicking on the plus icon button present on the last column of each row for a respective subjects as shown in screen-1. On Add Question button click the control redirected to add question page where you can add questions as shown in screen-2. Here you can add question in two different ways i.e. Single question and Bulk question. Single question can be added manually by putting question and options on its respective text area and clicking on submit button. Bulk question can be added through uploading a formated text file which can be seen by clicking on "please click here" link as shown in screen-3.
To view the questions click on the view icon button present on the last column of each row for a respective subjects as shown in screen-1. On View button click the control redirected to view question page where you can see the questions related to the subjects as shown in screen-4. To see the questions of other subjects, you can select subject from the dropdown on the top right corner of second bar as shown in screen-4. From here also you can add questions by clicking the Add Question button on the top right of second bar as shown in screen-4.
You can edit and delete questions by clicking Edit and Delete Question button for each question as shown in screen-4. On Delete Question button click the respective question will be deleted from the question bank. On Edit Question button click the control redirected to a edit question page where you can edit the question as shown in screen-5. Edit question and its options from the respective text area and click on Submit button to update the changes as shown in screen-5.
The term assessment refers to the wide variety of methods or tools that educators use to evaluate, measure, and document the academic readiness, learning progress, skill acquisition, or educational needs of students. Assessments are the group of exam papers. Screen-6 shows the list of assessment under the selected course which can be seleted from the dropdown on the top right corner of second bar. You can also view the assessments by year which can be seleted from the year dropdown next to the course dropdown. New assessment can be added by clicking Add Assessment button on left to the course drop down which is resulted in a new screen as shown in screen-7 where the details can be entered. Assessments can be deleted by clicking the delete icon button present on the last column of each row as shown in screen-6.
To view the exam papers of a assessment click on the view icon button on left to the delete button as shown in screen-6 which will redirected to a exam paper page as shown in screen-8. You can set date/time/duration for each exam paper by clicking on Date/Time/Duration column which is resulted in a new screen where details can be entered as shown in screen-9. To add students which will going to be appear in the exam paper by clicking on Student Appearing cloumn which is resulted in a new screen as shown in screen-10. You can add student by searching its name or by selecting the second option which list all students under the course after clicking the show button the list of student generated, you can add by clicking plus icon button. You can remove student by clicking delete icon button under the "Students appearing for this paper" section as shown in screen-10. To view the created question paper click on the view question paper icon button on the last column of each exam paper which resulted in a new screen that shows the preview of question paper as shown in screen-11. To appear in the exam paper each student should have a access code which can be generated by clicking the print icon button next to view question paper button which resulted in a new screen as shown in screen-12.
To create a question paper click on the Question/Marks column which will redirected to a question paper page as shown in screen-13. To add question click "Click here to add question" button which resulted in a new screen as shown in screen-14. There are three options to add questions i.e. Keyword Search, Academic Year and Random Search.
Keyword Search : You can search question by typing its keyword and click on show button which gives a list of questions for that keyword. To add question first enter mark and click on plus icon button as shown in screen-15.
Academic Year : You can search question by selecting year from the year dropdown as shown in screen-16.
Random Search : You can search question by selecting one of the three radio button as shown in screen-17 which gives a list of random questions.
To add or edit the question paper instructions click on the edit icon button next to the text "Instruction goes here" as shown in screen-13. To delete question click on the delete icon button on the right side of each questions as shown in screen-13. From here also you can view question paper by clicking on Preview button on the top right corner of second bar. After completing question paper you should have to mark question paper complete by clicking on Mark Complete button next to the Preview button as shown in screen-13.
This feature allows the faculty/admin to see the result of the exam paper in a graphical representation. To analyse the results click on the Analyse button on the top right corner of second bar as shown in screen-18 which resulted in a new screen as shown in screen-19. Select the given options and click the submit button as shown in screen-19. Checked on the assessment checkboxes which will give the subjects on the right side table as shown in screen-20. Select the subject which you have to analyse the result and click the Analyse button, the result will be generated as shown in screen-21.
This feature allows the Students to see their results in which they have been appeared. After login into the exms using student credentials click on Exams menu as shown in screen-22. On the left side menu bar all the assessments listed and its respective exam paper listed on the right side panel in a tabular format as shown in screen-22. Once the student have taken the test he/she can see their result by clicking on the view answer sheet icon button on the last column of table which result in a new screen as shown in screen 23. On screen-23 students can analyse their result, panel marked with red border indicates that the students have given a wrong answer while green border indicates right answer.
